May 11, 2025 - IRAN. Javad Haghi executed in Yazd on May 11
On 11 May, a man was hanged in Yazd Central Prison. His identity has been established as Javad Haghi, a 37-year-old man from Yazd. He was arrested five years ago for murder.
At the time of writing, his execution has not been reported by domestic media in Iran.
