January 5, 2025 - IRAN. Khalil Alizahi e Amir Mohammad Farahani executed in Shiraz on January 5
According to reports received by Hengaw, Khalil Alizahi and Amir Mohammad Farahani's execution took place at dawn on Sunday, January 5, 2025.
Khalil Alizahi, a 45-year-old Baloch prisoner from Zahedan, had been arrested two years ago on drug-related charges.
Amir Mohammad Farahani, from Arak, was also charged with drug offenses.
Prison authorities contacted Khalil’s family on Saturday, January 4, for a final visit. However, due to the long distance, the family was unable to arrive on time, and the execution proceeded without their presence.
As of the time of this report, the execution of these two prisoners has not been reported by state-affiliated media or judiciary-related outlets.
