February 20, 2025 - IRAN. Mahmoud Barahouei executed in Karaj on February 20
According to a report received by Hengaw, at dawn on February 20, 2025, the execution of Mahmoud Barahouei, 35, a Baloch prisoner from Zahedan, took place in Ghezel Hesar Prison in Karaj.
The Haalvsh news network also reported that Mahmoud Barahouei and another prisoner, Hossein Sasani from Tehran, had been arrested three years ago in a joint case on drug-related charges and later sentenced to death.
As of the time of this report, state-affiliated media have not announced this execution.
