May 12, 2025 - IRAN. Mahmoud Hojatzadeh executed in Isfahan on May 12.

According to information obtained by Iran Human Rights, a man was hanged in Isfahan (Dastgerd) Central Prison on 12 May 2025. His identity has been established as 35-year-old Mahmoud Hojatzadeh, from Torbat-e-Heidarieh.

He was arrested three years ago on drug-related charges.

At the time of writing, his execution has not been reported by domestic media in Iran.
