Iran hanged a man in a prison in the southeastern city of Zahedan after convicting him of rape, the Fars news agency reported. The report identified the man sent to the gallows as Jamshid Mir.
A public execution carried out by the Taliban in the eastern province of Khost on December 2, 2025 was conducted by a 13-year-old boy, local sources told Amu, adding that the man executed had been accused of killing 13 members of the child’s family.
