IRAN. MAN PUBLICLY HANGED FOR ROBBING BANK

21 June 2005 :

Iran publicly hanged Ghobad Siah-Mansour, a serial bank robber who killed a policeman during a clash with security forces. Siah-Mansour was found guilty of several armed bank robberies in the central city of Ispahan and was hanged in the neighboring town of Najaf-Abad.
