June 9, 2026 - IRAN. Manouchehr Nikoukhalgh Hanged in Mashhad on June 9

According to information obtained by Iran Human Rights, Manouchehr Nikoukhalgh was executed in Mashhad Central Prison alongside his co-defendant, Asadollah Bahreh, whose execution had been previously reported by IHR.

Nikoukhalgh, 35, from Saleh Abad in Torbat Jam, was hanged on 9 June 2026
He was arrested around three years ago on drug-related charges along with co-defendant Asadollah Bahreh.

IHR previously reported the execution of Bahreh, a Baluch father of one, on 10 June.

At the time of writing, his execution has not been reported by domestic media in Iran.
