January 25, 2023 - Mansour Yusuf Zahi (Mansour Yousefzehi) executed in Bandar Abbas on January 25.
According to the IHRS, citing Rasanak, on the morning of January 25, 2023 the death sentence of a poor prisoner was carried out in Bandar Abbas prison.
This prisoner, whose name was Mansour Yusuf Zahi, was a 22-year-old youth and the head of the family. This family was facing acute economic problems due to drought and loss of livestock and agriculture. So that after their son’s arrest, they were not able to get a lawyer for him. Mansour Yousef Zahi was married and the father of a young child.
Mansour Yousef Zahi was arrested on the charge of drug possession and on May 26, 2022, he was sentenced to death by Judge Alireza Ahmadi in the Revolutionary Court of Bandar Abbas.
