February 1, 2025 - IRAN. Maryam Kaviani executed in Khorramabad on February 1
According to a report received by Hengaw, at dawn on February 1, 2025, Maryam Kaviani, a Lor woman from Khorramabad, was executed at Khorramabad Central Prison (Parsilon Prison).
Sources report that Kaviani had been arrested and sentenced to death for murdering her husband.
As of the time of this report, Iranian state media and judiciary-affiliated sources have not publicly announced this execution.
