March 8, 2025 - IRAN. Mohammad Javad (Afshin) Hasanvand executed in Khorramabad on March 8
According to a report received by Hengaw, at dawn on March 8, 2025, Mohammad Javad (Afshin) Hasanvand, a First Lieutenant in the Iranian Law Enforcement Force and a resident of Alishtar, was executed in Khorramabad Central Prison (Parsilon Prison).
He had been arrested six years ago on charges of committing the murder of two people.
As of the time of this report, the execution of this prisoner has not been officially announced by state media.
