January 1, 2025 - IRAN. Mohammad Shafi Mousavi executed in Malayer on January 1
According to reports received by Hengaw, at dawn on January 1, 2025, Mohammad Shafi Mousavi was executed in Malayer Central Prison, in Hamedan Province.
Mousavi was executed on drug-related charges. As of the time of this report, state-affiliated media and judiciary-related outlets have not announced the execution.
