IRAN: MOTHER AND SON HANGED

Public hanging in Iran

06 July 2010 :

One woman and one man were hanged in the prison of Orumieh (northwest of Iran), reported the human rights defender’s news website RHANA.
According to this report the man was identified as Mostafa Rahimi and he was hanged along with his mother (name not mentioned) convicted of drug trafficking.
The official Iranian sources have not confirmed these news yet.
