August 6, 2025 - IRAN. Omid Azizian executed in Mashhad on August 6
A man was executed in Vakilabad Prison in Mashhad. HRANA has confirmed the identity of the executed prisoner as Omid Azizian, who was hanged at dawn on August 6. According to information received by HRANA, Mr. Azizzian had been arrested on drug-related charges.
As of the time of this report, authorities have not announced the execution.
