A report from Isfahan, central Iran, said that a prisoner was hanged in the city's notorious Dastgerd Prison. He has been identified as Malek Salehi, 35.
The Supreme Court of Pakistan has acquitted a man who was sentenced to death for allegedly poisoning his young son, declaring the decisions of the High Court and Trial Court null and void, Dunya News reported on March 9, 2026.
