Rahmat Valinejad executed in Zabol Prison on July 2.
According to Hal Vash, a man was executed in Zabol Prison on July 2. His identity has been reported as 40-year-old Rahmat Valinejad from Rasht, who was sentenced for murder.
A source is quoted as saying that he was arrested for murder in Zabol in 2016 and had been held in Nasr Abad Prison in Zabol until the day of his execution.
At the time of writing, his execution has not been reported by domestic media in Iran.
