July 20, 2024 - IRAN. Saeed Sepahvand executed in Khorramabad on July 20.
According to a report received by Hengaw, at dawn on Saturday, July 20, 2024, the death sentence of Saeed Sepahvand was carried out at Parsilon Prison of Khorramabad, Lorestan province.
Sepahvand, a resident of Khorramabad, had been sentenced for drug-related charges.
Simultaneously, another prisoner identified as Azim Amraei was transferred to solitary confinement, but according to Hengaw's sources, the execution of this prisoner has been postponed for three months.
To date, Saeed Sepahvand's execution has not been reported in the Iranian state media.
