January 5, 2025 - IRAN. Sajad Arzandeh and Mohammadreza Hosseinzadeh executed in Shiraz on January 5
With these two cases, the number of executions in this prison has risen to four.
According to a report received by Hengaw, the executions of Sajad Arzandeh, 48, and Mohammadreza Hosseinzadeh, 44, were carried out early Sunday morning, January 5, 2025, at Adelabad Prison in Shiraz.
Sajad Arzandeh and Mohammadreza Hosseinzadeh were arrested three years ago in connection with a joint case involving drug-related charges.
Previously, the execution of Khalil Alizahi (Sargolzehi), 45, a Baluch individual from Zahedan, and Amir Mohammad Farahani from Arak, also convicted of drug-related charges, had been reported at this prison.
As of the time of this report, the execution of these four prisoners has not been announced by state-affiliated media.
