August 17, 2025 - IRAN. Salar Rahimzadeh executed in Shiraz on August 17
According to a report received by Hengaw, on August 17, the death sentence of a man from Mashhad, identified as Salar Rahimzadeh, 38, was carried out in Adelabad Prison in Shiraz, along with two other prisoners whose executions Hengaw had previously reported. This prisoner had been arrested four years ago on charges of murder.
The execution has not been published in state media.
