April 28, 2024 - IRAN. Sohrab Rafieian and Morteza Azimi executed in Zanjan on April 28
According to a report received by Hengaw on May 4, on April 28, 2024, the execution sentences of 35-year-old Sohrab Rafieian and 40-year-old Morteza Azimi, two Turkish individuals residents of Zanjan, were carried out in the central prison of this city.
As per trusted sources, these two individuals were arrested three years ago for carrying 60kg of heroin and opium, and were sentenced to death in a joint case.
Until the preparation of this report, there has been no news coverage on these executions by Iranian media.
