Iran publicly hanged three men in the western city of Azna, in the province of Lorestan. According to the state run Iranian news agency Fars the men were identified as S. R., A. M. and M. Kh. and were convicted of kidnapping a person identified as M. A. in 2009. The men were hanged in front of more than 2.000 people and some officials in the ‘Namaz’ square of Azna, according to the report.(Sources: IHR, AAP, 12/08/2010)
