Two prisoners were hanged on drug related charges at Urmia Central prison. One of the prisoners was identified as Jahangir Nojavan. The later was not identified by name as of yet.

Two prisoners were hanged on drug related charges at Urmia Central prison. One of the prisoners was identified as Jahangir Nojavan. The later was not identified by name as of yet.
Saudi authorities on 7 January 2026 ccarried out the execution of three citizens in a mass execution, carried out under discretionary (taʿzir) rulings based on judicial interpretation, as part of the escalating wave of political executions in the Kingdom.
