September 8, 2025 - IRAN. Unidentified man executed in Lordegan on September 8

a Lor prisoner was executed in Lordegan Prison, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province. His identity has not yet been confirmed. He was arrested three years ago on charges of murdering a man named Hassan Ansari in the Chahartaq pass of the Barez district in Lordegan. The Public and Revolutionary Prosecutor of Lordegan stated that this was the first execution carried out in Lordegan Prison, and that all future death sentences under its jurisdiction will also be implemented there.
