February 19, 2025 - IRAN. Update: There would be 7 executions in Ghezel Hesar Prison in Karaj on February 19. Earlier Hengaw had published the news (picked up by HoC) that 4 executions had been carried out. Now Hrana provides an update, claiming that in addition to Hossein Yavari, Sasan Mirhadi, Behrouz Mohammadi and Reza Anzali-Chi, 3 other men were hanged. Of the 3, their identities are not identified, and all that is known about them is that they were accused of rape. 2 were Afghan nationals, and had been convicted of assaulting a woman in Tehran in October 2019.
