MALAYSIA: DRUG MULE'S DEATH VERDICT AFFIRMED BY SUPREME COURT

29 January 2010 :

the Malaysian Supreme Court upheld the death sentence of Filipino Nelson Tanoja, 55, for smuggling 508.6 grams of cocaine at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport on August 22, 2002. The Federal Court in Putrajaya affirmed the guilty verdict originally meted by a lower court.
