MORATORIUM. D'ALEMA, CONSENSUS BY AT LEAST THE 27 EU COUNTRIES

Massimo D'Alema

27 July 2007 :

“The moratorium looks like being a success. I would like a united front, without risking arriving at the UN General Assembly under the controversies of organisations like Amnesty International.” Italian Foreign Affairs Minister Massimo D'Alema announced this during his hearing in front of the Parliament’s Foreign Affairs Commission. “We want a more extensive coalition in which there is at least all of the twenty seven EU member countries.”
“We will have a big meeting with the General Assembly’s political sponsors of the moratorium. Keep in touch,” the Minister said to Rosa nel Pugno politician Sergio D’Elia, Secretary of Hands Off Cain.
