A triple murder convict named Muhammad Akram was executed in the Sahiwal Central Jail. He had killed his wife, brother-in-law and sister-in-law over a domestic feud in 2002.Since the de facto ban on capital punishment ended on 17 December 2014, at least 246 people, including twenty-five convicted terrorists, have been executed across the country.
