PAKISTAN: MURDER CONVICT EXECUTED IN SAHIWAL

Pakistan executed a man convicted of murder in Sahiwal, Samaa reported.
“In 2003, Imtiaz Hussain had murdered a man over a dispute. He was hanged until death,” sources quoted central jail authorities as saying.
Since the de facto ban on capital punishment ended on 17 December 2014, at least 287 people, including twenty-six convicted terrorists, have been executed across the country.
