May 27, 2025 - IRAN. Amir Ebrahimi and Rahim Amiri executed in Karaj on May 27
On May 27 two men, Amir Ebrahimi and Rahim Amiri, were executed at Karaj Central Penitentiary. According to Hengaw, the executions took place not in Karaj Central, but in Karaj Ghezel Hesar.
The two men were moved to solitary confinement ahead of their executions on 25 May.
Ebrahimi and Amiri, both from Harsin, Kermanshah Province, were arrested in separate cases around six and seven years ago respectively for drug-related charges.
