SAUDI ARABIA: FOUR MORE MEN EXECUTED BY BEHEADING

Saudi authorities have executed four citizens in the last days, after they were convicted of murder in separate cases, the interior ministry announced, raising the number of people executed in August alone to 26 and bringing to 41 the number of executions in 2014.
One of the executions took place on August 27 in the port city of Jizan, where Moussa bin Muqliz Zafri was beheaded for stabbing to death Yehya bin Nashib Hamdi over a dispute between them.
The second execution took place the same day in the city of Najran, where Naji Al Mutlaq was beheaded for the murder of fellow tribesman Abdulhadi Al Mutlaq, also with a machine gun.
The third execution took place on August 27 in Medina, where Nawaf al-Mutairi was beheaded for the machine-gun killing of fellow Saudi Adel al-Harbi in a dispute.
On 26 August, Saudi authorities beheaded a citizen in the eastern Qatif region after he was convicted of killing a fellow national, the interior ministry announced. Mohammed al-Taroti killed Abdullah Abu Sarir by running him over in a car following a dispute.
