SAUDI ARABIA. MAN BEHEADED FOR MURDERING TEENAGER IN 54TH EXECUTION OF THE YEAR

19 July 2005 :

Ali bin Ahmad bin Hashidi Shuhaythi, a Saudi man, was beheaded by the sword in the holy city of Mecca, for strangling to death a teenager, the Saudi interior ministry announced. He had been convicted of killing Ibrahim bin Jaber bin Ahmad Oqaili by "strangling him to death following a row".
