Saudi Arabia executed Salim Abdul-Rahman, a Pakistani national, in the Red Sea city of Jeddah after convicting him of smuggling heroin into the kingdom.The Uganda Prisons Service has confirmed that the country currently has 93 inmates on death row, while reiterating that no executions have been carried out since 1999, Nile Post reported on June 11, 2026.
