Saudi Arabia executed Salim Abdul-Rahman, a Pakistani national, in the Red Sea city of Jeddah after convicting him of smuggling heroin into the kingdom.
Kuwait’s Court of Appeals has upheld the death sentence for a man convicted of murdering his girlfriend in Rumaithiya suburb and concealing her body in a suitcase in an attempt to smuggle it out of the country, Gulf News reported on January 21, 2026.
