Sheik Adan Yare, the governor of Somalia’s Bakol region, announced that Al-Shabaab members publicly executed Muhammad Guul Hashim Idiris, a Christian convert from Islam, in Somalia’s Hudur district.Idiris’s execution in a make-shift soccer stadium was attended by hundreds of people, including school children.
Idris was accused of insulting the prophet Muhammad.
