22 October 2015 :

Three persons including two brothers convicted over a murder in Kehelwatta, Kapuhena were sentenced to death by the Matara High Court.
They were charged in the murder of an unmarried man on July 04, 2015 over a land dispute, using swords and clubs. 
Matara High Court judge Damith Thotawatta sentenced them to death after delivering the verdict.
