VIETNAM: DRUG RING GETS 5 DEATH PENALTIES

a court in Vietnam’s northern province of Thai Nguyen sentenced five people to death and fined them VND50-300 million (US$2,600-15,700) each.
Nguyen Van Dua, 43, and four accomplices were found guilty of trading in 16 kgs of heroin between June 2004 and February 2006.
