16 May 2006 :

the People's Court of Hanoi handed down the death penalty to three men convicted of trafficking heroin.
The group smuggled a total of three kilos of the drug in Vietnam between October and December 2005. The May 11 ruling also sentenced four accomplices to life in prison.
A further four members of the same gang have received jail terms ranging from five to 20 years.
