A Sudanese court in the southern part of Sudan has sentenced a woman to death by stoning after convicting her of charge of adultery, a Sudanese human rights group disclosed on 9 July 2022.

An Israeli woman was sentenced to life in prison in Dubai, her defense team announced on 7 July 2022, after her death penalty for possession of an illegal substance was overturned by an appeals court last week.
