A special POCSO court on 21 October 2021 awarded capital punishment to a man for murdering a 7-year-old girl after raping her in Nagaur district of Rajasthan.

Syria has executed 24 people after convicting them on terrorism charges for igniting last year’s devastating wildfires, leaving three people dead and burning thousands of hectares (acres) of forests, the Justice Ministry said on 21 October 2021.
