25 November 2008 :

the capital punishment sentences issued by the Algerian Justice system against people involved in terrorism cases since the beginning of the year are up to 300, including 257 issued by the Court of Boumerdès, in 64 cases.
The Boumerdes Court has dealt with as many as 651 cases linked to terrorism this year, an official source at the court said. The court also gave life term imprisonments to 102 terrorists, some of them in absentia.
