the Additional District and Sessions court in Jhenidah, Bangladesh, sentenced three men to death and four others to life imprisonment for the murder of a man over land dispute in Kulbaria, Harinakunda district.
According to the prosecution, Serjon, Hanif and Beltu swooped on the house of Afzaluddin on the night of April 4, 1999 and chopped him to death.
The victim’s body was later found beheaded.
