a court in southwest China handed the death penalty to an unlicensed drunk driver who killed four people in Chengdu on December 14, 2008. Sun Weiming, a company executive in Chengdu, capital of Sichuan Province, was sentenced by the Chengdu Intermediate People’s “for an offense against public safety,” the official news website of Sichuan Province, reported.(Sources: China Daily, 24/07/2009)
