CHINA: MAN GETS DEATH WITH TWO-YEAR REPRIEVE

a man in China who seriously injured his girlfriend and killed her friend after he suspected they were having an affair was sentenced to death with a reprieve of two years. Shanghai No. 2 Intermediate People’s Court heard that Yu Zhongwei, 41, of in Chongming County, found Liu with a man surnamed Huang on November 30, 2009. Enraged, Yu took a hammer from his tool bag and hit them in the head, and then stabbed Huang with a knife.
