the Shanghai No. 1 Intermediate People's Court executed Lu Shuangfu and Ren Jianhua for the murder of a woman in 2004.
The two were convicted of killing a female acquaintance of Lu surnamed Zheng during a robbery in which they attempted to electrocute her. Zheng put up a struggle and was then shot by Ren. They stole a mobile phone and gold jewellery. Lu and Ren were caught when, in January 2005, they attempted to sell the gun used in the crime.
