December 8, 2023 - 3 men executed in Orumiyeh (Urmia) on December 8
Ali Shahin-Nejad (Shahinnejad, Shahinnezhad), Solat (Hamid) Tosan (Tawsan, Sawlat Tousan), and Janali (Jan'ali) Nadimi Dargahi
The authorities have today, December 8, executed Ali Shahinnezhad, Sawlat Tousan and Janali Nadimi in Orumiyeh Central Prison on drug trafficking charges.
The three Kurdish prisoners were transferred to solitary confinement yesterday for execution, the Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN) has learned.
Shahinnezhad was 39 years old from the village of Pesan in Orumiyeh, West Azerbaijan Province, Tousan was 40 years old from the village of Qeshlaq-e Tarazlu in Orumiyeh and Nadimi was 62 years old from the village of Piranjuq in Orumiyeh.
They were sentenced to death several years ago in separate drug trafficking cases.
