May 31, 2026 - IRAN. 3 men executed in Shiraz, Qom, and Neyshabur

Mohammad Sediq Balouchi, Behnam Hasanian, Mohammad Hakimi

Iranian authorities have executed three prisoners in Shiraz, Qom, and Neyshabur Prison.

According to information received by Hengaw, the execution of Mohammad Sediq Balouchi (Kabdani), known as Abdulvahid, a 53-year-old Baloch man from Zahedan and father of six, was carried out in the early hours of May 31, 2026, at Adelabad Prison in Shiraz.

Haalvsh reported that Balouchi was arrested in 2016 on charges related to drug-related offenses. His execution was carried out without prior notice to his family and without being granted a final visit.

Separately, in the early hours of May 25, 2026, Behnam Hasanian, a 36-year-old man from Saveh, was executed at Qom Central Prison. He had been arrested approximately two years earlier on charges related to drug-related offenses.

In addition, Mohammad Hakimi, a 33-year-old man from Neyshabur, was executed at Neyshabur Prison in the early hours of March 18, 2026. He had been arrested about four years earlier on charges of murder.

The executions of these three prisoners have not been announced by Iranian state media.
