According to information received by Hengaw, 3 Kurdish men, identified as Mohammadreza Badavi, Reza Molaei, and Mehdi (last name unknown), were executed in Urmia Central Prison on November 9.

The death sentences of Badavi, aged 47, a father of four from the village of Kusi in the Nazlou district of Urmia; Molaei, aged 48, from the village of Qolanchi in the Anzal district of Urmia; and Mehdi, whose surname remains unidentified and who was also from Urmia, were carried out at around 1 a.m..

Sources informed Hengaw that Badavi and Molaei had been arrested six years ago, and Mehdi at an earlier date, all on similar drug-related charges.

The executions of these men have not been reported by state media.
