May 31, 2026 - IRAN. 3 men executed on May 26 and 31
Sobhan Abbasi, Mohammad Osman Daneh Barchin (Naroui), Aslan Amiri
According to information received by Hengaw, Mohammad Osman Daneh Barchin (Naroui), a 35-year-old Baloch man from Iranshahr and father of three, was executed in the early hours of May 31, 2026, at Adel Abad Prison in Shiraz. He had been arrested five years ago on drug-related offenses.
Authorities also carried out the execution of Aslan Amiri at Arak Prison on the same day. He had been sentenced to death on drug-related offenses.
In a separate case, Sobhan Abbasi was executed in the early hours of May 26, 2026, at Jiroft Central Prison. He had been sentenced to death on charges of murder.
The executions of these three prisoners have not been announced by Iranian state media.
