October 22, 2025 - IRAN. 4 men executed in Ghezel-Hesar on October 22
Mansour Iravani (Mansour Irvani), Sobhan Zamani, Reza Mahdizadeh (Reza Mehdizadeh), and Shahab (last name unknown)

According to information received by Hengaw, the executions were implemented at dawn on October 22, 2025.

Other sources (and HoC) have already reported the news of three executions in Ghezel-Hesar on 22 October, but the names coincide only in part. Previous information indicated Sobhan Zamani, a man identified only as Shahab, and an unidentified man. Now Hengaw (which was also among the sources of the previous news) and IHR bring the number of executions to four, adding Mansour Iravani (Mansour Irvani) and Reza Mahdizadeh (Reza Mehdizadeh) to Sobhan Zamani and Shahab.

Sources stated that Sobhan Zamani and Reza Mahdizadeh (photo) had been arrested in separate cases on charges of murder.
According to the Legal Deputy of Iran’s Law Enforcement Command (FARAJA), Mansour Iravani was arrested seven years ago on charges of killing Second Lieutenant Asadollah Khazaei. Reports indicate that during a police pursuit in the Khademabad–Shahriar area, Iravani, driving a stolen vehicle, accelerated toward the officer despite a warning to stop, fatally striking him. For the sake of completeness, Hengaw had already reported the news of a man executed in Ghezel Hesar for killing a police officer named Asadollah Khazaei. The date of the execution was given as 23 October, and the man was identified only by his initials: M. A., which only partially coincide with those of Mansour Iravani.

Meanwhile, according to Hamshahri Daily, Shahab was arrested two years ago in one of the cities of Razavi Khorasan Province for allegedly killing a friend in a case described as “honor-related”.

Two of the executions were reported by state media, two were not.
