June 9, 2026 - IRAN. Abbas Zarei executed in Kermanshah on June 9

According to information obtained by Hengaw, a Kurdish man identified as Abbas Zarei was executed at dawn on June 9, 2026, in Dizel Abad Prison in Kermanshah.

Zarei was married and a resident of the village of Sarin in the Firouzabad district of Kermanshah County. He had sentenced for murder.

The execution has not been announced by Iranian state media.
