June 17, 2026 - IRAN. Abdollah Jalali executed in Zahedan on June 17
Iranian authorities executed Abdollah Jalali, a 25-year-old Afghan man. Information received by Hengaw indicates that Jalali was executed in the early hours of June 17, 2026, at Zahedan Central Prison.
According to Haalvsh, Jalali was a married father of two from Khashrud District in Afghanistan's Nimroz Province. He was arrested in Zahedan four years ago, at the age of 21, on charges related to drug offenses.
Iranian state media have not announced his execution.
