Ahmad Mehravar executed on August 18 in Zanjan Prison. According to Iran Human Rights, on August 18, a prisoner was executed in Zanjan Central Prison. His identity has been established as Ahmad Mehravar. An informed source told IHR: "He was arrested in 2016 on charges of carrying 25 kilograms of glass (methamphetamine) and 10 kilograms of opium and was sentenced to death and has been in prison ever since." At the time of publication, the execution of Ahmad Mehravar has not been announced by domestic media or officials in Iran.
